Yes, it has been some time since I posted a new strip. My apologies. I have recently taken a new job and we are getting ready to close on the house we are having built. All exciting, but taking me away from my Dog House.

Some how this idea struck me as funny one day. Being an avid Calvin and Hobbes reader I couldn't help but think about Calvin and his bath nonsense. This is my version os having fun in the tub is like.
This is also in honor of my step-son, Ross. He was a submariner, now he is on a surface ship. As he put it, "A Target." Enjoy! 
If you're a parent, or perhaps have been a babysitter, you know the humiliating situations you have had to endure. In my case it was playing "Pretty, Pretty Princess" with my daughter, Kelsey. Don't get me wrong, I loved spending time with her, but it seemed like I always won thus having to put on all the garb of a princess.
I can only imagine it is going to happen again when I am a grandpa. Oh well. Life is good. Enjoy! 
I've always thought it was funny that people had lit candles in their bathrooms. So I thought it would be funny to have Arther show it wasn't always a good idea to keep them lit.

Any dog owner and or parent knows this is true. I'm not sure who is worse. Personally I think I was as a child. My mom was always chasing me and telling me to get in the tub again.
My current dog, Curtis E. LeMay, does not do this. My friends little dog practices this to the max. It is hilarious to watch Woofie Goldberg roll in new disgusting finds. Enjoy!

 Elbert is my favorite character aside from Herman. I actually got the idea for Elbert riding on a shuttle to work one day. It was everything I could do not to laugh and then capture his image.
